first peoples’ map
A web mapping platform, built for the First Peoples’ Cultural Council of B.C., integrating diverse Indigenous cultural data (languages, arts, & heritage). The application allows users to explore open-ended data sets narrowed by geographical area, and to help administrators understand and rationalize arts grant allocations. Julie acted as user experience researcher, facilitating stakeholder and user interviews and co-creation workshops, as well as usability testing.
